Ms. Suzanne Hampton

Hi! My name is Suzanne Hampton, and I've been Mr. Walshire's Administrative Assistant since September 2022. I've lived in Lindenhurst for 25 years, raising three children with my husband, Craig. Jake (20), Davalyn (18) and Ava (18) attended Millburn Elementary and Middle Schools and then Lakes High School. I was an active volunteer with District #24 while I was a stay-at-home mom for 18 years. I recently went back to work once our oldest entered college. Working at Millburn has brought me full circle from a parent to an employee, which has been extremely rewarding. I enjoy walking and golfing and traveling anywhere that has a beach!

Mrs. Julie Hayes

My name is Julie Hayes. I have been an Office Administrative Assistant since May of 2019, and I have been part of the Millburn Community for over 20 years. I was a parent and active volunteer in the district for 16 consecutive years.  I then became a substitute in the classrooms and front office. My husband, Frank, and I have raised four children in the Millburn district: Erin (29), Brandon (27), Jeffrey (26) and Amanda (20). I have experienced Millburn Elementary grow from a small K-8 school, prior to the addition, to becoming an Elementary only building once the change to Elementary and Middle school buildings was introduced.

Mrs. Nomita Umarwadia

I'm Nomita Umarwadia, I've been with the Millburn School District since 2003, first as a teacher's aide and then as an Adminstrative Assistant since 2005. I'm passionate about helping students, families and staff and I'm proud to have been a part of the Millburn community for over 20 years. I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, but my schooling and college spanned India, Illinois, and South Carolina. I moved back to Illinois to be with my husband, and we have two grown-up sons, Neerav and Kunaal, who are both Millburn alumni. I love socializing with my family and friends, watching movies, and visiting interesting places, especially those with gorgeous sunsets. I'm always looking for new ways to learn and grow, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.

Mrs. Lynne Schaefer

Hello! I am Lynne Schaefer. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2003. I started at MIllburn Elementary working the 2019 and 2020 school years as a 1:1 nurse for an Early Childhood student half days and some extra help in the Health Office with Nurse Kelly Vanko in between. Since then, Covid happened, the student moved away to another district, and I am grateful to say that those events led me to this great opportunity to stay on as a full time Nurse at MES. I also provide the Hearing and Vision screenings and Nurse coverage at MMS. Prior to Millburn, I worked 23 years at Nurse.com, an online continuing education company that also provides job recruitment and other resources for nurses and allied healthcare professionals nationwide. And on the side, I worked at Victory Lakes. I have 4 adult children; Amber (Mike), Meghan (Billy), Samantha, & Zachary, 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, and my newest grand baby Lincoln who is soon to be 6 months old. I've lived in Lake Villa since 1991 with my husband Skip and we have our furbaby Lexie who is a 13-1/2 yo black Lab.
