Mrs. Kari Gedville has been in education for 24 years and this is her 6th year at Millburn Elementary. Before, coming to Millburn, she has been the Assistant Principal at a K-5 building with Wauconda School District for four years.  Prior to that she taught 5th and 6th grade, as well as, gifted education for 15 years with Lake Villa School District.  She obtained a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa, a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Aurora University and a Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement.  Kari believes in focusing much of her efforts on the social emotional learning of the school community and its impact on student achievement.

Kari resides in Lindenhurst with her husband Mike, three children, Abby (18), Mitch (16), Karley (13) and their dog Bella.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, adventuring the outdoors, hiking, boating, paddleboarding, and running.
