Both schools - Millburn Central & Millburn West - in District 24 qualified for an Illinois Academic Excellence Award for the 2008 school year.
The Academic Excellence Awards recognize sustained excellence in elementary schools where 90% of students pass the state tests for at least three years, and high schools where 80% of students pass the state tests for at least three years. All of these schools made adequate yearly progress all three years.Note: Prior to 2005-2006 Millburn District 24 had only one school, hence a single district report card. After 2006, the district included two schools, so the state reported on both schools in the district as well as a combined district card.
