Second Step
Second
Step is a research-based program that teaches skills for social and
academic success. The fourth-grade curriculum includes units on empathy,
emotion management, and problem solving. Students will learn to
recognize and understand their own and others' feelings by watching
characters solve problems in short videos, listening to songs about
social-emotional development, participating in classroom discussions,
and practicing social skills.
