About the teacher

  • Hi Kindergarten parents!

My name is Andrea Frank and this is my seventh year teaching at Millburn Elementary School District 24. Before joining the Millburn team, I taught Early Childhood/Special Education, Second and Third grade.  I was also able to stay home and run a daycare out of my house for 9 years while my boys were young.

I have two amazing boys!  Gavin is 17 and a Junoir at Antioch High School while my youngest, Alex is 14 and a Freshman at Antioch High School.  I have been married for 18 years to my wonderful husband Jon and we also are proud parents of two labs- Bella(black lab-10 years old) and Jax(yellow lab-6 year old). With my boys playing sports non stop and keeping up with my active dogs, it's difficult to find time for myself.

I graduated from Illinois State University in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education.  In 2018, I received my Masters in Curricuum and Instruction with an endorsement in English as a Second Language.

I look forward to a fun filled year!
