It can be a challenge to find books that correlate with your student's reading level, but our local public libraries have made it easier. Below are lists of books organized by reading level that can be checked out at area libraries. If you are unsure of your child's reading level please contact their classroom teacher or RtI teacher.
You can also help your child find a book that is "just right" by teaching them the 5 finger rule....
1. Find a book you would like to read.
2. Read the second page.
3. Hold up a finger for each word you are unsure of, or don't know.
4. If there are 5 or more words you did not know, choose an easier book.
