• Winter Choir Concert

    The Millburn Elementary School Choir will be hold their Winter Concert on Wednesday December 11th!  The show starts at 7:00 p.m. in the elementary school east gym and we cannot wait to see you there!  

     

    If your child is a member of the choir, there are a few things you should know:

    Report Time - Elementary school choir members should arrive at the music room no later than 6:30 p.m.

    Dress -

    Concert attire. 
     

    • Black pants or skirt (modest length)

      • Please avoid leggings or jeans if possible.

    • Black dress shirt or blouse

      • Please avoid t-shirts if possible.

    • Black close-toed shoes

    • Black socks or flesh-colored nylons

      OR

    • Black dress
    • Black close-toed shoes
    • Black socks or flesh-colored nylons

    If you have any specific questions about what your student should wear please don't hesitate to contact Mr. Gorr.

    The Week of the Concert - We do not follow our regular schedule the week of the concert.  There will be not be regular rehearsal on Tuesday or Thursday after school but rather a dress rehearsal the day before the concert.  Our dress rehearsal will be on Tuesday December 10th starting at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 7.  Elementary students are only at rehearsal from 4 to 6, the last hour will be middle school only.

    All members of the choir are expected to participate in both dress rehearsals and both concerts each season.  If you have a potential conflict you must let Mr. Gorr know well in advance.
