Grading/ Assessment

3rd - 5th grade students will be receiving a grade in their Physical Education classes this year. Students will be given daily participation grades as well as written assessments or projects. Here is an example of criteria on which students' daily participation will be graded.
Definition of Terms on Rubric:
Performance: participation, effort and time on task
Skill Development: assessment of a targeted skill or activity
Social Behavior: adhering to rules/ procedures of class and safety guidelines
Personal Behavior: prepared and ready to start class
