My Lists

  • Originally, this page was a booklist page. But, I love movies just as much as I love books. So, I changed the name to Lists, so I can just list all my favorites.

Social Studies - Movies

  • All Quiet on the Western Front

by No Author Text Year Published:
Early film on World War I. I find it interesting because, not only is it told from the German point of view, but also because of the way the film shows the hardships and conditions the soldiers faced. So old, it's Not Rated. Get parent approval before you watch; some of the war and hospital scenes may be upsetting.

Great locations in Philadelphia and Washington DC. Some of the information in the dialogue is pretty interesting, too. If you have the DVD, find the hidden features! Rated PG.
