Resource News!!
This year I am aiming my focus on restructuring my resource class. Every Tuesday we will have a focus on building skills to improve executive functioning and every Thursday we will have a focus on building social/team building skills. These focuses will be around 20-30 minutes, based on what the topic is of the day. Mondays and Wednesdays will be check in times with me for each student. This time will be time to check in on how they are doing with their organization, how classes and homework are going, etc. Check in times will take anywhere from 5-10 minutes on the student's day. I feel this restructure will help aide in the successes of your child's learning this year. Due to this restructuring, students could be coming home with more homework then they have been typically used to.
