Resources for Parents and Opportunities for Gifted StudentsAttention Innovators!The search is on! We are looking for passionate young people who want to improve their school, community or even the world through science and innovation. Do you have budding young scientists in your classroom? Encourage them to enter The Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge today!To enter the competition, students in grades 5-8 are asked to create a short 1-2 min. video that showcases their idea to solve a real-world problem in a new and innovative way. The top ten finalists will each receive a summer-long mentorship with a 3M scientist and a trip to 3M's world headquarters in St. Paul, MN! The grand prize winner will be named "America's Top Young Scientist" and receive $25,000!
